Top Class K-9 Rally Signs and Exercises – Beginner Rally

This class is intended for dog and handler pairs that are interested in having fun with their dogs learning Rally Obedience. You will be instructed on how learn the Novice, Advanced and Excellent Rally signs and exercises. Tools used are toy motivators, treat motivators and rewards.

Prerequisite is the successful completion of the Top Class K-9 Competition Foundation Work I or Intermediate. Admittance may be granted to dogs and handlers who have not participated in a Top Class K-9 program on an individual basis, after an interview.

The dog must be able to be tethered or crated reliably.

You must equip your dog with a standard 6 ft or training leash and flat buckle collar or martingale collar, pinch or slip. You must bring a crate for your dog.

Top Class K-9 Rally Coursework

This class is intended for dog and handler pairs that are interested in having fun with their dogs and are preparing for competition in rally up to RACH and Rally Choice.

You will be instructed on how to read, navigate Rally courses.  The dog/handler team performance will be polished for competition.  Handlers will be taught handling skills and on what the expectations are in the Rally ring.  Tools used are toy motivators, treat motivators and rewards.

**  We DO NOT handle dogs with bite histories (this DOES NOT include puppy mouthing or grabbing at people in a playful manner)  or that have exhibited any aggression towards people or other dogs.  If your dog has already bitten a person or has shown aggression towards people, then please contact your vet for assistance in finding a trainer to help you.
