Canine Rehabilitation
You thought it would get better …..
ž You wait until well after dark to walk your dog when fewer people and other dogs are about. 2 am is a good time.
ž Thinking of the next vet visit makes your gut clench with apprehension. Too bad those annual shots are required.
ž Your dog chases little children and/or adults and nips them in the behind and on the ankles.
ž Your dogs used to get along. Now they try to kill each other. You wonder…… what happened?
ž The doorbell rings, someone knocks, you scramble to grab your frenzied barking, snapping dog and wrestle it into another room praying the door will hold.
ž Your life partner enters the room and wants a hug. Your dog stands in front of you, snarling. No hugs for you today.
ž Your dog shakes, trembles and drools every time you take it somewhere. So you take it to busier places to “get it used to stuff”. Dog gets worse.
ž Your dog has bitten someone or attacked another dog. Is there anything that can be done?
ž Friends, relatives…even total strangers tell you to euthanize your “aggressive” dog. You wonder….is that the only option left?
